A few weeks ago my parents took Katie and Peter up to North Georgia. They came back with lots of apples so the last two Saturdays were spent making and canning applesauce. In all we canned 71 quarts of applesauce and 5 quarts of apple butter. We also made several pies and a couple of apple cakes.
