Science Camp

This past weekend part of our homeschool group attended a science camp in North Georgia that is run by a Christian couple. It was a really neat place and even had its own planetarium. Everyone had a wonderful time of learning combined with play.

Fun Gifts from God

Last weekend our local Handy Ace Hardware had a big sale. Eric went to pick up supplies for his never ending house projects and I tagged along. They were having a raffle and I entered while he roamed the store (it was free). I ended up winning the grand prize - a rather nice gas grill. It was rather exciting to win something!

Shiloh

We recently welcomed a new addition to the family. Amy's dog Hunter died in January and she recently decided she was ready for a new dog. She really wanted a puppy, but the breeder she bought Hunter from knew of this 1 1/2 year old female golden that was available. She came from a line of very good dogs, but her eyes did not pass an eye clearance test (its something that will not affect her at all), so they were not going to breed her and she had just been neglected in a kennel. We went to see her and Amy decided that she would like her so we brought her home. Amy named her Shiloh and she is a very sweet dog. Even though she was basically left in a kennel she is adapting very well and learning quickly.

Guest

Aunt Amy, from Oregon, was in town and was able to stay with us for a night. We enjoyed getting to see her and spend some time with her as distance precludes us from getting together often.

Wedding

The wedding was beautiful and we were honored to have such a large part in it.
